Disc Golf is a game based on the standard golf game, but instead of using clubs and a golf ball, players utilize a flying disc or a Frisbee like disc. The modern day disc used in Disc Golf are designed for specific uses. There is a "Driver" Disc for long range throws, or teeing off. Then players have an assortment of medium range disc for shorter shots, and of course when you get close to the hole, or target, there is a putter disc for your really short shots.
Probably the most important shot you will need to master is the Drive or Tee Shot. As with standard golf, distance is a key but placement is just as important in order to set-up your next shot. To be a winning player it is important to always be thinking several shots ahead.
